  6. 46055c5e Go back to Ghostty WezTerm felt great at first, but there're many bugs and inconviniences. For example, OSC 7 (change current directory) happily accepts inaccessible paths, such as inside-container-path. In Ghostty, those are ignored and previous working value will be used for spawning a new terminal. In WezTerm, it takes the value, and fallbacks to default directory (home directory) on spawning a new terminal. So when I entered Incus shell then create a new terminal window, Ghostty opens it at the directory where I ran "incus shell" command, whereas WezTerm opens it at my home directory. If this isn't a bug, I'd say this is really bad design. Visual flashing when displaying wide-character on a new terminal is annoying, though not a deal breaker. Its defaults are also not best. It's like bloated and I have to opt-out everything by reading massive feature list on documentation. Clicking a link without CTRL opens a link, SSH integration, etc. This has the most surpring defaults among terminal emulators I've used. But the most significant one, deal breaker, was the clipboard bug. Most of the time WezTerm does nothing on CTRL+SHIFT+V. It does paste on middle-click (triple finger click on trackpad) so it probably is keyboard handling mechanism or something. I guess it's great at rendering characters, but really bad at user-facing software things. Revert "hm/terminal/wezterm: Fix paste not working most of the time" Revert "hm/terminal: Switch to WezTerm on Linux" This reverts commit 241732f14f4543917ecc89fe5e93a7971158f19c. This reverts commit e685640929f0106dd9155ed7a954bfc17c75a194. Shota FUJI authored at Shota FUJI comitted at
  7. 241732f1 hm/terminal/wezterm: Fix paste not working most of the time It's so flake, and I don't know why. Explicitly assigning keybinding seems to work for some reason. Shota FUJI authored at Shota FUJI comitted at
  8. 8ea682bd programs/pomodoro: Add TUI pomodoro timer I've been using Solanum, GTK4 pomodoro timer for a while. It's little bit buggy (playing sound randomly on paused state) and does have good keyboard navigation (space is reserved for activating focused element, default focus is on skip button, etc.) I first made this in Zig, but there is no usable TUI library for Zig. One is vibecoded trash and another one does not have layout system (well it has some, but those'll crash once you nest layout widgets. Far from usable.) This version, made with Golang and BubbleTea + Lip Gloss, takes more than 10x memory and will pause the program for garbage collection, but at least it does the job. 9. e6856409 hm/terminal: Switch to WezTerm on Linux Somehow WezTerm feels snappier than Ghostty. Also rendering looks sharper and crispier. Shota FUJI authored at Shota FUJI comitted at

  12. 053405a6 Update Flake input (nixpkgs, home-manager) And I noticed that my Incus config sets "true" to bucket feature... I've never seen errors related to that, so that's from tutorial or quickstart guide and is totally unused, I guess. Shota FUJI authored at Shota FUJI comitted at
  13. 8bb745ac hm/apps/web: Move Firefox directory under XDG config dir Upstream (HM? Firefox?) changed to that and HM module started a warning message on every switches. Shota FUJI authored at Shota FUJI comitted at
  14. 68a28357 hm/wayland-desktop: Migrate to anyrun anyrun is neither feature equivalent to Walker nor beautifully crafted, but it at least has sane config and simple archtecture. Compared to Walker, it: * lacks power-control actions (the feature is not in nixpkgs yet) * has messy and horrible widget class assignment, so styling is PITA * can add non-app launcher entries without adding shitty prefixes * is snappier? (at least in VM, it's way smoother than Walker) * has minimal but sufficient system requirements Shota FUJI authored at Shota FUJI comitted at
  15. 0213334b Update Flake input (nixpkgs, home-manager, plac) I had to migrate to Walker v2, as HM module was changed without any recourse. The styling is totally broken, so don't use this commit. I'm going to switch to a sane launcher in a following commit. Shota FUJI authored at Shota FUJI comitted at

  23. d4214033 */*/niri: Change window resizing keybindings The most frequent action I take after opening a window is shrink the window to 25% viewport. With the current setup, I have to press "Super + R" twice. In addition to that, adding "Shift" to that key combination changes orientation is confusing. The "Super + V" has been assigned to toggling float window, but I've never used the floating feature. This new keybindings set is intuitive, and uses widely adapted "Shift" behavior.
